Thank you for shopping with White Elephants. We strive to ensure our customers receive high-quality produce directly from local farmers and farm shops. However, we understand that there may be occasions where you need to cancel an order or request a refund. This policy outlines your rights and the process for cancellations and refunds in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Your Rights to Cancel
1.1 Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt of your goods without giving a reason. However, as many of our products are perishable goods, exceptions apply (see Section 1.2).
1.2 Exemptions: The right to cancel does not apply to:

1.4 If your order is eligible for cancellation, you must return the goods to the supplier at your expense unless otherwise agreed. Goods must be returned within 14 days of notifying us of your decision to cancel.
2. Refunds
2.1 If you cancel your order in accordance with this policy, we will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever is sooner.
2.2 Refunds will be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Please note that any delivery costs paid at the time of purchase will only be refunded up to the value of standard delivery.
2.3 For perishable goods that arrive damaged or not as described, you have a right to a refund or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the goods by contacting hello@whiteelephants.co.uk with your order details and photographic evidence of the issue.
2.4 If a refund is approved for damaged or incorrect goods, we will cover the cost of return postage where applicable.
